Grinnell -- Joe Kindernecht, 75, died Tuesday morning in the Quinter Hospital.
A resident of Grinnell, he was preceded in death by his wife, Philomena, March 16.
He is survived by one son Emmanuel of California; six daughters, Mrs. Bobby Kaiser, Wichita, Mrs. Alfred Heier, Grinnell, Mrs. Johnnie Wolf, Salina, Mrs. Doug Zeigler, Grainfield, Mrs. Frank Kaiser, Grinnell, Mrs. Don Schroeder, Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Eberle of Hays, Mrs. Sophie Sweet of Wyoming, and Mrs. Mary Herman of California; one brother, John Kindernecht of Colorado; 21 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Grinnell Catholic Youth Center, beginning Friday at 8 p.m. A rosary will be said in the center at 8 p.m. that evening. Burial will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Grinnell Cemetery.
