Grinnell -- A former Ellis County resident, Mrs. Philomena Kindernecht, 73, Grinnell, died Sunday at Grinnell.
Surviving are her husband, Joe of the home; one son Emmanuel of California; six daughters, Mrs. Bobby Kaiser, Wichita, Mrs. Alfred Heier, Grinnell, Mrs. Johnny Wolf, Salina, Mrs. Douglas Zeigler, Grainfield, Mrs. Frank Kaiser, Grinnell, Mrs. Don Schroeder, Angeles; two brothers, John Hertel, Hays, Hilarius Hertel, Munjor; one sister, Mrs. Frank Weber, La Crosse; and a number of grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Grinnell Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Grinnell Cemetery. Friends may call at the Grinnell Catholic Center form 2 p.m. Tuesday until service time. There will be a rosary said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the center.
