Joseph /6 Lamson (Joseph /5, Benjamin /4, William /3, John /2, William /1), was born at Exeter, N. H,, April 13, 1762, and died at Plainfield, Vt, March 15, 1835. He married Mehitable Philbrick, daughter of Benjamin (blacksmith) and (his second wife) Lydia (Colcord) Philbrick, Nov. 2, 1784, at Exeter, N. H. ; she was bom at Exeter, N. H., Nov. 7, 1766, and died at Plainfield, Vt., in 1859,

Joseph Lamson was a weaver, and lived in Exeter, N. H, He was also a constable. He removed to Plainfield, Vt., in the Spring of 1797, and died there.

619 Olive /8, b. Plainfield, Vt, Jan. 17, 1799; d. there Dec. 29, 1873; ni- James Batchelder, son of Jonathan and Judith (Bontwell) Batchelder, Sept. 30, 1811. He was b. Plainfield, Vt., Feb. 5, 1794; d. there May 24, 1875. Their children were (1) David, b. Sept. 7, 1818; m. (1) Jane H. Pitkin; m. (2) Harriett A. Perry. (2) Marian, b. July 24, 1821 ; m. Rev. B. Jacob Boyce, May 28, 1840. (3) James Merrill, b. April 8, 1829; m. Amanda Lawrence.

620 Mary (Polly /8), b. Plainfield, Vt., May 26, 1801 ; d. there Jan. 14, 1881 ; m. Jeremiah Batchelder (Brother of James), Feb. 7, 1821. He was b. at Plainfield, Vt., Sept. 13, 1796; d. Barre, Vt., Aug. 4, 1879. Their children were: (i) Philbrick, b. Nov. 16, 1821 ; d. unm. (2) On,is Burton, b. Sept. 21, 1826; m. Lemira Freeman.

621 Thomas Jefferson /8, b. Sept. 18, 1804; d. Plainfield, Vt, Aug. 29, 1890; m. Rosella Whipple, 1827. A mariner.
