Winona Republican-Herald page 9, dated Monday, May 29, 1950 Obituaries Death of Joseph Lubinski Joseph Lubinski, 85, 508 Chatsfield street, retired employe at the Chicago and North Western Railroad shops, died at 8 a.m. today at the Winona General Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Lubno, Poland, October 14, 1864, and came to this country, directly to Winona in 1872. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen Local No.325. survivors are his wife; two sons, John and Harry, Winona; two daughters, Mrs. John (Johanna) Sikorski and Mrs. Florence Watkowski, Winona; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, August, Winona, and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Cieminski, Mrs. Frances Krzoska, Winona. Funeral services will be Thursday [June 1,1950] at 9 a.m. at St. Stanislaus church, the Rev. N.F. Grulkowski officiating. Preliminary services will be at the Watkowski funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The rosary will be said at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. by Father Grulkowski. Friends may call there after 7 p.m. Tuesday and after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
