Mary Hannah Lowes was born out of wedlock, her 1898 Marriage Certificate shows her father to be Robert Lowes. DNA results show that I am related to the great grandson of Joseph Davison Nixon who married Sarah Lowes, the mother of my grandmother Mary Hannah Lowes. The level of shared cm's is 170 which is commensurate with our most recent common ancestor being Great Grandfather. This means that according to the DNA results Joseph Davison Nixon was the natural father of Mary Hannah Lowes. Robert Lowes shown on the marriage certificate is the grandfather of Mary Hannah Lowes.
