About Joseph J Nohava
Joseph J. Nohava, a native of Lonsdale, died of a heart attack in St. Paul-Ramsey Hospital on February 9. The funeral was held at the Church of St. Michael in West St. Paul, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Francis R. Dudley offering the Requiem Mass. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery. The pallbearers were Donald Nohava, White Bear Lake, Thomas and James Schwartz, West St. Paul, Francis Nohava, Lonsdale, John Ernst and Howard Corty, West St. Paul. Joseph J. Nohava was a retired barber. He was born at Lonsdale on March 12, 1904, a son of Michael and Catherine (Trnka) Mohava, both now deceased. Mr. Nohava was married to Albina Valek on June 30, 1926, in the church of the Immaculate Conception at Lonsdale. Surviving are: widow Albina; a son, Clarence J. Nohava, White Bear Lake, a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Esther) Schwartz, West St. Paul, ten grandchildren, two brothers Edward Nohava of South St. Paul and George Nohava of Faribault, and a sister, Mrs. Ed (Rose) Richter of Montgomery.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Feb 3 2019, 21:13:01 UTC
