MARRIAGE Married ca March 1717/18 Sarah Woodson b ca 1712 Va Sarah Woodson is shown to be the daughter of Robert Woodson Jr and Sarah Lewis in her father's last will and testament recorded February 1729, Henrico County Va in February 1729, married Joseph Parson per page 539, Genealogies of Virginia Families from William & Mary College Quarterly Historical Magazine

SARAH'S PARENTS Robert WOODSON: (b. 1658, "Curles", Henrico Co., Virginia, d. bef Feb 1728/29, "Curles") Sarah's father, Robert Woodson Sr, was the son of Robert Woodson I (b. 1634 Flowerdew Hundred Plantation, Henrico Co., Virginia (now Prince George Co., Virginia), d. 1716 Henrico) & Elizabeth Ferris (b. 1638 James City Co., Virginia, d. 1689 Henrico). This Robert Woodson I was the son of Dr. John Woodson & his wife Sarah. Elizabeth Ferris was the daughter of Richard Ferris (b. 1596, d. 1637 Henrico) & Sarah Hambleton.

Sarah LEWIS (d. bef 1711). Robert & Sarah married Oct. 1692 in Henrico Co., Virginia. Sarah Lewis, was the daughter of John Lewis (b. abt 1635, d. 1689, son of John & Lydia) and Isabella Miller (dau. of James Miller).

Robert Sr & Sarah WOODSON had 7 children beside Sarah. The other 6 were: 1 Stephen Woodson (d. abt 5/1761) m. Mary Woodson (dau. of Joseph Woodson & Mary Jane Woodson (dau. of John Woodson & Mary Tucker).
