About COL Joseph Paul Beaulieu, Jr

Paul Beaulieu married the former Anna Lillian Iversen-Wagner (b.1926), on September 11, 1948. Anna brought to the marriage a toddler daughter Priscilla, from a previous marriage. It was a friend of Elvis who would later introduce a teenage Priscilla to fellow military serviceman and entertainer Elvis Presley, evolving into a relationship and marriage with the superstar in May 1967. Paul and Anna would have 5 children together -Donald Beaulieu (b. December 30, 1949), Michelle Beaulieu (b. February 11, 1954), Jeffrey Beaulieu (b. April 16, 1959), and twins Timothy Beaulieu & Thomas Beaulieu (b. January 28, 1962). Sadly, Thomas died February 13, 2013. Paul & Anna remained married for nearly 70 years, until Paul's death. After stint in the U.S. Marines, he served 31 years in the United States Air Force, 1948-1979. Paul Beaulieu died from kidney failure, at his Brentwood, California home at 1 p.m., on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was 92.

Paul Beaulieu is survived by his widow Anna, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

∼ Paul Beaulieu (June 18, 1925 - January 4, 2018) entered the United States Air Force In 1949 continuing his long military career that began as a United States Marine in WW2. From the Korean War flying B-29s to the Cold War in Germany flying daily missions to Berlin during the time the Russians were building the Wall. During this tumultuous time, he also keeps close eyes on Elvis Presley who had in interest in his daughter Priscilla. In 1968-69 he spent a year in Vietnam where he engaged in his third war. He retired in 1976 as the Special Assistant to the Commander 21st Air Force managing many Special Programs. After he retired from the USAF he moved to Brentwood, Ca with the true love of his life of 69 years, Ann Iversen Beaulieu. Where he completed a very successful career as a contractor. Survivors: include loving wife Anna Iversen Beaulieu, children: Priscilla Presley, Don Beaulieu, Michelle Beaulieu, Jeff Beaulieu, Tim Beaulieu, Pre-deceased by son Tom Beaulieu, and survived by 18 grandchildren, and 8 Great-grandchildren.
