About Ens. Joseph Peck
Not the same as Joseph Peck of Old Lyme
Joseph Peck, son of Joseph Peck and Ruth, was born about 23 Feb 1694 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut, and died November 16, 1749 in Cornwall, Litchfield County, Connecticut.[2] (is this certain?)
Joseph married Margaret Stiles February 23, 1714/15 in Windsor, Connecticut.[1] Born 23 Feb 1695 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut and died 9 Jun 1726 in Tolland, Connecticut. She was the daughter of John Stiles and Ruth (Bancroft) Stiles.

Origins
Ruth was first married to Joseph Peck, son of Paul Peck and Martha Hale, by whom she had four children:
- Elizabeth and
- Ruth who died young,
- Joseph (1694 - 1749) married Margaret Stiles
- Ruth (1696 - 1728) married Solomon Moss
Her husband, Joseph Peck, died in 1698, after which she married John Hoskins, in 1699.[2]
