JOSEPH PERKINS, son of Stephen, John, Edward, was born in New Haven, September 18, 1701;
Married February 23, 1728-9, Phebe Moultrap (or Moulthrop), daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Barnes) Moulthrop.
April 26, 1723, for three swine and some Indian corn he bought of his father, Stephen Perkins, a parcel of land in fifth division, formerly belonging to John Glover.
June 8, 1725, his father by gift deeded him one-half of a messuage, tenement and land where said father then lived, at or near a place called Round Hill.
The date of his death is unknown, nor is there any settlement of his estate on record in New Haven.
Believed to be buried here with no marker.
