Joseph seemed to take possession of the farm, as on Mar. 17, 1716/7, Joseph Place and wife Joanna deeded to Daniel McCoon (the second husband of Sarah Place Cook) 100 acres, reserving 3 rods square "where father Enoch Place is buried." This farm was located about 1 mile west of what is now known as Wickford, RI.
