•~ Joseph Plumer, youngest son of Francis and Ruth Plumer, was born in England in 1630 and came to New England with his parents. He lived upon the south side of Parker River in the town of Newbury and was a Freeman in 1670. He died December 11, 1683. He married December 23, 1652 Sarah Cheney, daughter of John Cheney of Rowley, Mass.

1. Joseph Plumer, born September 11, 1654, married January 20, 1685 Hannah Swett.
2. Benjamin Plumer, born October 23, 1656, married January 15, 1678 Mary Wood of Rowley, Mass.
3. Sarah Plumer, born May 13, 1660, died May 26, 1676.
4. Francis Plumer, born April 23, 1662, died December 5, 1663.
5. Francis Plumer, born February 25, 1664, married May 10, 1700 Mary Ellitrop of Rowley, Mass.
6. Nathaniel Plumer, born January 31, 1666.
7. Jonathan Plumer, born May 13, 1668 of whom below.
8. Abigail Plumer, born July 15 or 26, 1674, died December 11, 1683.
