About Joseph Richardson
Joseph Richardson was also an ardent member of the Society of Friends like his father. He was "the fifth child and fourth son of William Richardson". He was born 3 Apr 1678 in Anne Arundel County in Maryland. He married Sarah Thomas 25 Aug 1705. This Sarah Thomas is of royal descent, with the line going back to Edward I, King of England, and his second wife, Margaret, daughter of Philip III, King of France. This Thomas Line is shown in Pedigree XXI of "Americans of Royal Descent" by Charles H. Browning, 1894, Vol. 1, pp 80-81. Joseph died 18 Aug 1748. They had nine children.
