About Joseph Taylor, Jr.
Obituary FIRELANDS PIONEER June 1866 Edition ..........As a husband and father he was kind and indulgent; as a friend and neighbor genial and obliging. He was a consistent Christian, ever striving to retain his religious integrity. He needs no higher encomium than the numbers that gathered to pay the last tribute to his memory. He leaves a bereaved circle of friends, who knew him only to love him. But, we shall meet again; yes, we shall meet in the "white radiance of eternity."
