About Joseph Weneck
Weneck, 79, south Kansas City, former owner of Plaza Rental & Sales, died March 19, 1994, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Louis Chapel; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to Temple B'nai Jehudah. Mr. Weneck founded the rental company in 1970 and was president until he retired in 1987. He was a former member of the Oakwood Country Club. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a charter member of the Mnookin-Brown post of the American Legion. He was a member of the temple. He was a lifelong area resident. Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. Weneck of the home; a son, Charles B. Weneck, Overland Park; a daughter, Rhonda S. Brown, Leawood; a sister, Frances Yukon, Kansas City; and five grandchildren.
