My Great Great Aunt Great Grandma Nancy Corn Gaydon's sister

Daughter of John 11 and Caroline Corn. She married A.F.McDonald 2-5-1869 in Lumpkin County Ga. I know she had one daughter named Josey, in my Corn listings.

My Mama remembers this family. This was so exciting to me to hear my Mama talk about her childhood in Ga. It is so amazing how much she remembers.My Mama remembers Josephine's daughter Josey very well. The original picture is large and you can see the houses very well. This is the same village my Mama lived in. I took Mama to GA and we went to where she lived and it was these very houses. I guess that is why she remembers this family so well they lived near each other. I don't understand why she was buried in the Gainesville Mill Cemetery in Hall County instead of the McDonald Family Cemetery with her husband and some of her children. She was sick and staying with her daughter Josey so I guess the daughter made the decision to bury her in Hall County instead of taking her to Lumpkin County. The answer to this we will probably never know.
