Josephine M. Rosol; age 91, of Fairmont, Minnesota passed away Sunday morning, 7 November 2010, at the Lutz Wing of the Fairmont Medical Center. Interment is at Holy Family Cemetery in East Chain, Minnesota.

Josephine Madeline (Mikolai) Rosol was born on 27 February 1919 in Fairmont, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Joseph & Mary (Staloch) Mikolai and attended East Chain Public Schools.

On 4 October, 1949, Josephine was united in marriage to Harry Rosol at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they moved to Hobbs, New Mexico, followed by Kalispell, Montana for one year, Sauk Center and later moved to Mankato. In 1955, the couple moved to Fairmont, where Josephine became the first employee of 3M and worked there for many years. She and Harry shared forty-six years together before Harry passed away on 1 April, 1996.

Josephine was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont, Minnesota. Whe she needed assistance with her daily care, she became a resident of the Lutz Wing of the Fairmont Medical Center.

Left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Anne Benjamin of New Hope, Minnesota, and Evelyn Mikolai of Minneapolis, Minnesota; brother, Eugene (Lee) Mikolai of Blue Earth, Minnesota; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents, Joseph & Mary Mikolai, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband; Harry Rosol; brother Euglogius, Roman, and Daniel; sisters Genevieve, Julia, Loretta, and Regina; and nephew, Mitchell Mikolai.
