About Josephine Laura Yanni
Josephine L. Yanni, 83, passed away April 30, at Akron City Hospital.
Born in Denora, PA in 1922, Josephine had been an Akron area resi dent for near ly 50 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was formerly em ployed by Atco Surgical, where she worked as a seamstress.
Josephine was preceded in death in 1983 by her husband of 36 years, Joseph; sisters Ginny, Ellie, Evelyn, and Betty. She is survived by her daughters Susan and Carol Yanni of Cuyahoga Falls; son and daughter-in-law Frank and Wendy Yanni of Cuyahoga Falls; sister Edith (Jim) Carter of Akron; granddaughters Erin (Mitch) Madenfort of Hartville and Lindsey Yanni of Cuyahoga Falls; great-grandchildren Mitchell, Mason, Jaret, and Joel.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine's memory may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services .
