About Josephus Chandler

Marble Hill Press May 19, 1892 p.1 column 4 Joseph Chandler died at his home near Gravel Hill on the 17th inst. He had been complaining for two or three days, but no one thought he was seriously ill until he died suddenly about noon on the date above named. We did not learn the cause of his death. He was one of the oldest citizens of the county, and leaves many friends and a number of relatives to mourn their loss.
