Married July 24 1670 in Southampton, Long Island, NY. ' 2nd wife 2 Mrs. Elizabeth Sylvester Osborne married after 1686/7 when her 1st husband Bezaleel Osborne died at Easthampton. She is said to be the daughter of Nathaniel Sylvester of Shelter Island

NY TO NJ After their children were born they moved to Essex Cty NJ which was very new. Removed to Elizabeth, NJ 1690, admitted as an Elizabethtown associate 1695. Believed to have died shortly after that, family removed to Rahway

DEATH He died there and is likely buried with his wife in the first and oldest Essex church cemetery, in capital Newark, NJ, which was tradition then.

Bezaleel Osborne (son of William Osborn), b. May 8, 1650 at Braintree, d. Feb. 1686/7, at East Hampton; m. Elizabeth maybe Sylvester Elizabeth m. 2nd Josiah Stanborough Jr, who moved to Elizabeth Town ca. 1690.

In the East Hampton ratables , Sept. 8, 1683, Bewlick Osborne was given a valuation of L 30 (NYDH 2:542). The ear mark of Besaliel Osborne was noted ca. 1686 in the records of East Hampton, 2: 183.

Bazalliell Osborne of East Hampton in his nuncupative Will dated Feb. 11, 1687, proved Mar. 7, 1687, names his wife Elizabeth, his brothers Jonathan & Joseph, and the two sons of his brother in law Arthur Howell (Suffolk County, LI, Clerk's Office, Sessions Book No 1, p. 243).

Bezaleel Osborne had purchased land in the New Castle County, Del., the disposition of which was recorded Jan. 22, 1706,at New Castle. Joseph Osborne of East Hampton appointed his brother Jonathan Osborne of Cape May as his attorney in the sale of his one-third interest in certain land at Appoquinimink in the county of New Castle which had belonged to his brother, Bezediel Osborne, Dec'd. (New Castle Co. Deed Book B-1, pp. 364-65). On July 13, 1704, Jonathan Osborne of Cape May and Josiah Stanborough of Elizabeth Town conveyed to John Heally of Appoquinimink Ck., New Castle Co., a tract of 400 acres owed by Barzaliell Osborne who in his last will and testament bequeathed it to Jonathan Osborne, Joseph Osborne, and Elizabeth, the wife of the said Barzaliell Osborne. Jonathan Osborne acted in his own right and as attorney for Joseph Osborne, and Josiah Standborough with right of his wife the aforesaid Elizabeth (Ibid. pp. 366-67) On the same day Jonathan Osborne of Cape May and Josiah Standborough of Elizabeth town appointed their friend Mr. Richd Renalds of New Castle their attorney to make delivery in their name to John Heally of Appoquinimink Creek in New Castle County of a tract of land on the southeast side of Appoquinimink Creek formerly belonging to Bazaliell Osborne (Ibid. p.365)
