About Joyce Elaine Hash Heisler
Joyce was the granddaughter of Charnel and Martha Jane Spores Mulligan, who were very involved with the founding of the City of Eugene, Oregon.
Along with Eugene and Mary Skinner,Charnel and Martha donated land to the city of Eugene. The Mulligans donated 40 acres of their land claim to the county along with a like amount by Eugene Skinner. The present park blocks of the Courthouse Square in downtown Eugene are a memorial to the Mulligans, who gave the land for that purpose. Charnelton Street is named for Charnel Mulligan.
There is a Memorial Plaque in the park which honors Charnel and Martha for their donation. Joyce and her family were invited to the memorial dedication ceremony and during this ceremony they were officially recognized as direct descendants of Charnel and Martha(Spores)Mulligan.
Surviving are sons Robert W. (Deborah) Hash Jr. and Michael Heisler. Daughter Kimberly Worth(whom Joyce had given up for adoption at birth). Step Daughters Sheila, Connie and Angie Heisler. Granddaughter Katrina(Mike)Hash Small who was her Grandmothers pride and joy, great-grandchildren Jade, Michael Jr. and Giselle Small. She was preceded in death by 1st husband Robert W. Hash Sr., 2nd husband Glenn Heisler and her daughter Deborah Louise Hash Humphrey Beddingfield.
