About Juan Coloma, I. señor de Elda
Mosen, titulo nobiliario de segunda categoria que era otorgado en Aragon....... I Senor de Elba. Secretario del Rey Juan II de Aragon (Navarra) que estaba ciego y muere el 19/01/1479, donde aparecen documentos firmados por el desde 1462, luego de su hijo, Fernando II de Aragon y despues de los Reyes Catolicos. En 1474 recibe un censo a su favor , como Consejero y Secretario del Rey.........Compro la baronia de Alfajarin. El rey Catolico le dio el titulo de Conde de Salinas. Participo en la elaboracin de la capitulaciones de santa Fe, con Cristobal Colon y los Reyes catolicos. Financio junta a Luis de santangel, el viaje de Colon. EL mosen, Juan Coloma compro los territorios del Valle de Elba en 1497 a los Condes de Cocentaina. Al jubilarse se residencio en Zaragoza donde era un afamado prestamista. El 01/01/1506 el Rey Fernando el catolico le otorga a Juan, su mujer e hijo el titulo de nobleza de Aragon.

Juan II Coloma, 1st Lord of Elda, Salinas and Petrer, 2nd Lord of Alfajarin, also known as Mosen Coloma (d. 1517) was a court functionary of the Spanish noble house.
At a young age, he was sent to the royal court of Juan II de Aragón; He became a close confidant to the king and from 1462 was his royal secretary. He took office between 1462 – 1479. His career continued during the reign of Ferdinand and Isabella, in which he accompanied the court during the war to Granada. There he designed one of his major acts, the Alhambra Decree.
