Condesa de Casa Flórez Juana María Elena Pereyra y González de Peralta

Se casó en Buenos Aires con Manuel Antonio, marino español, que había llegado como guardiamarina de la expedición del Marqués de Valdelirios, que el Rey envió al Río de la Plata para trabajar en la demarcación de los límites entre España y Portugal.

Después de los esponsales, D. Manuel fue ascendido a Teniente General de la Armada (1753). Pasado un tiempo fue nombrado Virrey de Nueva Granada y Presidente de la Real Audiencia de Santa Fe de Bogotá, cargos que asumió el 26 de agosto de 1775 y ejerció hasta abril de 1787. Ese año la Corte lo designó Virrey de Nueva España, funciones de las que se hizo cargo el 8 de mayo siguiente para desempeñarse correctamente hasta el 16 de agosto de 1790. En ambos destinos, la virreina se destacó por sus notables iniciativas, poniendo en evidencia las cualidades que heredó de sus antepasados. Se sabe que fomentó la poesía, que convirtió sus dos residencias en epicentro de notables reuniones sociales e impulsó iniciativas de progreso, tales como el observatorio astronómico que montó en las azoteas de su palacio mexicano, complemento de las excelentes administraciones llevadas a cabo por su esposo en los destinos donde le tocó actuar.
