Juanita Merle Greene Casto

Juanita Merle Greene Casto, 93, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Worthington Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born Monday, Dec. 15, 1919, in Braxton County, W.Va., a daughter to the late Charles and Hallie Boone Petty. She was retired from Western District Guidance Center, where she was a counselor for the State of West Virginia. Juanita was also a Methodist by faith.

She is survived by two sons, James A Greene Jr. (Joanne) of Parkersburg and William Issac Greene (Marie) of Buchanan Dam, Texas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean Petty of Elkview, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Greene; a daughter, Judith Ann Langfitt; four sisters; and one brother.
