The surname of Judith has never been determined, nor have her parents been determined or proven as of Sept 2023. There is one land document with husband James Massengall 15 June 1747 where she is referred to as Judith O Massengall. Additionally, there is no paternal or maternal connection to the Presson name or family that can be proven at this time, despite a one moiety land sale to Thomas Presson, 15 Jan 1754, or previous deals with Richard Presson. They may be family members from her maternal line, however there is no data confirming any of this.

Daniel is Daniel IV, is a son of Daniel III.

Daniel III is one of the 7 sons of James Massengill l and Judith. Daniel III wife remains to be unconfirmed as of Aug 2022.

Daniel Massengill IV married Susan White and moved to Georgia after 1800. His father, Daniel Massengill III, had moved from North Carolina. Southampton County previously was Isle of Wight.
