Judy Black

BLACK--Judy Ellen, 67, died after a long illness on Sunday, November 15, 2015 in Washington, Connecticut, where she lived. Her loving husband of 29 years, Richard Schlosberg, and her brother, Leon Black, his wife Debra, and their four children Benjamin, Joshua, Alexander, and Victoria deeply mourn her loss. Born in New York City on September 27, 1948, she lived in New York City as well as Washington, Connecticut and Manalapan, Florida. In New York City, she attended the Ramaz School, the Fieldston School and graduated from Barnard College in 1970. She later graduated with a Master's Degree in Art History from the New York Institute of Art, a Master's Degree from the Bank Street School of Education and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in New York City. She and her husband were passionate and involved in creating gardens and deeply committed to promoting environmental conservation. She was predeceased by her mother, Shirley Black Kash, who passed away in 2014 and her father, Eli M. Black, who passed away in 1975.
