"Daniel Jackson Dearing was born in Bell Buckle, Tennessee on March 4, 1816. Daniel died in 1897 at 81 years of age. His body is interred in Dearing Cemetery. He married Juiia Maria Hall Dearing on March 1, 1838. Julia was born in Tennessee on October 10, 1821. Julia died about 1866. Her body is interred in Dearing Cemetery. Daniel's occupation: Farmer, bred and sold horses. He was a man of strong convictions. It is said that he would not permit a fire to be lit for cooking on Saturday night until Sunday midnight. He was the song director for his church (Baptist)" (Kind, 4).
Dearing Cemetery is located in Caldwell Co. KY near the city of Princeton.
