Franklin Pierce Dearing

"Franklin Pierce Dearing was born in Tennessee on March 16, 1858. Franklin died October 6, 1923 in Kentucky, at 65 years of age. He married Rebecca Lynn Hopper Dearing, on October 30, 1873. Rebecca was born in Kentucky on May 22, 1854. Rebecca was the daughter of David Martin Hopper and Minerva Jane Crow Hopper. Rebecca died on July 25, 1927 in Kentucky at, 73 years of age."

Rebecca Lynn Hopper Dearing's father David Martin Hopper is my 3 gg uncle his parents were John and Sara Elizabeth Scott Hopper from Virginia. I have previously added their names to my geni.com Hopper Family Tree. Virginia Hopper Oldham.

David was born in 1822 and is buried at Stallions Cemetery, Caldwell County Kentucky. He and Minerva J. Crow lived in the Lewistown Community. Minerva and her sister Rebecca married brothers. Rebecca's husband was Humphrey Hopper and they resided in Lyon County KY. Their father was actually William Crow a brother to Moses.
