Julia Flinn Schwartz, 87, of Westover Drive, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at her home.
A private service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Schwartz was born in Tuscaloosa, Al., on December 5, 1919, to Charles Foster Flinn and Mary Cowan Flinn. She graduated from St. Mary’s School in Raleigh. She was also a graduate of University of Alabama and a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She married her childhood sweetheart, Charles W. Schwartz IV who survives of the home, and was a devoted husband of 65 years. Also surviving are sons, Preston M. Schwartz of Lexington and Charles W. Schwartz V of Biloxi, Ms.; daughter, Elizabeth S. Murdoch of Limerick, Pa.; four grandchildren, Nektarios Schwartz of Biloxi, MS, Christos Schwartz of Pascagoula, MS, Preston Owen Schwartz and James Paul Schwartz, both of Lexington; and four great grandchildren, Dmitri Schwartz, Olivia Schwartz, Yannis Schwartz and Haley Schwartz.
