About Julien de Marillac, seigneur de Bicon and Police Chief of Wars

Enobled in March 1577

And de la Mothe-d'Hermant (1515 to 1571) Commissioner of wars / POLICE CHIEF OF WARS

First marriage:- There are three children recorded in La Vie - Guillaume, Charles and Pierre.

Then by his second marriage:- La Vie records daughter Madeleine

P502 La vie for the listing Note 61 records a different genealogy.

Julien requires further research see P501 Note 12 (remacle 501-10) which says" If we correctly understand Jacqueline Boucher, Julien won from Henry III THE REHABILITATION OF THE FAMILY'S NOBILITY which his father Guillaume I has lost, by allowing the Taille (TAX) to be imposed on his lands at Aigueperse.

He founded a cadet line of the Seigneurs de Bicon (it is these who in the 20th Century prepared one of the most extensive genealogies of the family.)

P501 note 58 describes a grand son of Pierre (Which one?-Jean Baptiste Ange or his brother Charles Antoine?)

There is record of marriage contract of Jean Baptiste Ange De Marillac, Captain of the regiment of Languedoc to Dame Marie-Maryse de Melinge dated 1708. This describes Jean Baptiste as the second branch du Dauphin, which seems a bit odd as both he and his father Charles, (first branch Dauphin) are shown without siblings.
