June Irene Ohren

June Ohren, 78, of Monmouth, Ill., died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Clarissa Cook Hospice, Bettendorf.

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Turnbull Funeral Home, Monmouth. Burial is in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery, Monmouth. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to Faith United Presbyterian Church Choir or Western Illinois Animal Rescue.

She was born June 1, 1929, in Christian County, Ill., to Bert and Helen Hatfield Rogers. She married Delmar Ohren on Aug. 20, 1949, in Taylorville, Ill. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Anita Ohren, Davenport; a son, David, Wildwood, Ill.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded by a daughter, Belinda De Campbell; and two sisters.
