Kaia Kanepi

Kaia Kanepi (sündinud 10. juunil 1985 Haapsalus) on Eesti tennisist. 9. jaanuari 2012 seisuga on Kaia Kanepi WTA edetabelis üksikmängus 26. kohal. Tema parim koht WTA edetabelis on olnud 16. (14. veebruar 2011). Parim WTA koht paarismängus oli 106. (6. juuni 2011). Seisuga 9. jaanuar 2012 on ta 146. kohal.

Kaia Kanepi was born in Haapsalu. Her father, Jaak (a real estate broker) and mother Anne (a homemaker) played tennis. They also have daughters Kadri, who won a tennis scholarship to study in the United States, and Karin, a dedicated horse rider. Kaia, who always watched her parents and sisters play, discovered her love for tennis at an early age. She started playing at the age of eight. Her family has always supported her desire to play professional tennis. She reached world number one in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior rankings before turning professional in 2000.
