I have visited Strusow and Wawarynce (Vavarintsi, Ukraine) which were the villages of my paternal grandparents.

I know that Stanin, the birthplace of my maternal grandmother, has been incorporated into L'viv, Ukraine. She was of Ruthenian origin.
