Karl Fredrik Pfeiffer

Karl Fredrik Pfeiffer was born Karl Fredrik Peterson in Norrköping in 1893. His parents died when he was not even two years old. He and his siblings were then adopted by their aunt, who was a widow formerly married to Victor Pfeiffer, and took her last name. Therefor the last name changed from Petersson to Pfeiffer..

Karl Fredrik studied law and graduated as a lawyer (jur kand) from Upsalsa University in 1915. Too young to practice law he travelled throughout Europe during WWI, with a Swedish diplomatic passport, that a friend had arranged for him.

In 1921 he marries Ingrid. He becomes haradshovding on the Island of Gotland in 1931 and stays there through 1948. He then moves to Upsala as a judge until he retires in 1960. Karl Fredrik and his wife Ingrid, split their time between Stockholm and the island of Gotland, where Ingrid was from and where they owned a summer home.He died in Stockholm of Stomach complications?
