About Karl Charles Holstein

Karl Charles Holstein, was a 40 year old Tinker Air Force Base Employee and former Oklahoma State University Football Player, died Friday after an unexpected heart attack at his home, 5913 NW 59th St. Born in Bartlesville, OK, Karl was a Veteran of World War II, serving four years in the Coast Guard. After returning from military service, he graduated from Oklahoma City University with a degree in chemical engineering, and had been employed at Tinkers chemical laboratory since. Before joining the coast guard, he attended OSU. Until his death, he was active in athletics with the Boy Scouts. He attended Oklahoma City University and graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science on May 23rd, 1949.
