History of the Lands and Their Owners in Galloway FHL 941.49 H2m 1994 states she was the eldest daughter of Patrick Agnew, of Lochnaw.
History of the Lands and Their Owners in Galloway, FHL 941.49 H2m 1994, v. 5, p310 states she married Alexander Gordon in 1592 and that she was the sister of Andrew Agnew and the relict of Patrick Agnew of Larg, parish of Minnigaff, who had a liferent of Portencorke and Carrochtrie. This, obviously, was inaccurate because she was the daughter of Patrick Agnew and the relict of Alexander McKee of Larg, Minnigaff parish.
