Miss Katherine Airola, 43, Jumbo Gardens, died in Port Arthur Hospital Friday afternoon. She had been ill since childhood. Born in Intola, she was the daughter of Emma Airola and the late William Airola. Flowers and radio programs were her hobbies. Miss Airola attended school in Intola and moved to Port Arthur with her mother 15 years ago. Besides her mother, surviving is one sister Pearl, Mrs. E. Hostikka, 75 Parsons Avenue, Port Arthur. Other relatives survive in Finland. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Everest Funeral Chapel to Riverside Cemetery for burial. Rev. R.A. Peden will officiate.
