Katherine Mary Brummel

Peter and Katherine started out in Juanita, NE where they farmed and 4 of their children were born. Later they moved to Hardin, MT where Peter and his brother Francis (Frank) had a homestead and farmed. They also raised horses and sold them to the Army. Times were very hard and they decided to move to Casper, WY which was a boom-town at the time because of the oil refineries. They had 2 room shack to live in with their 6 children and Anna was born there. Peter worked as an engineer at an ice plant for many years. Later Peter and Katherine returned to farming on another homestead near Casper while Peter still worked in the ice plant.
