Katherine Craylord

On 25 August 1611, Katherine married Ambrose Crayford in the church of St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney, Middlesex England. He was described as being a sailor "of Ratcliff" and she was described as being "of Lymehouse". [1][2] Her name was written in the register as Prentis.

They had at least six children:

1. Elizabeth (1612) [3]
2. Elizabeth (1618) [4]
3. Jerome (1621) [5]
4. William (1622) [6]
5. Alice (1627) [7]
6. Mary (1629) [8]

Katherine is mentioned in her father's will of 1630 as Katherine Crayford, [9] as were her daughters Alice and Mary.

Katherine died at Rotherhithe, Surrey in April 1656 and was buried at the Church of St Mary, Rotherhithe, Southwark on 13 Apr 1656. [10]
