Miss Katherine Marie Heffernan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Heffernan of Bock Street, became the wife of Patrick Henry Heffernan , son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Henry Heffernan Sr. of Washington, D.C.
The Rev. Joseph Daly officiated.
The Bride wore chantilly lace and silk taffeta en train with a fingertip veil and carried a white orchid and stephanotis.
Mrs. John Robert Heffernan of Arlington Heights, Ill was matron of honor. Kathleen Heffernan, niece of the bride also of Arlington Heights was junior bridesmaid.
Raymond Heffernan of Washington was best man for his brother. Ushers were Thomas Heffernan of Rochester, brother of the bride and Robert Heffernan of Washington, brother of the Bridegroom.
A luncheon was held at the Treadway Inn.
After a wedding trip to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Heffernan will reside in Washington.
The bride was graduated from the school of Nursing Education of Catholic University. The bridegroom was graduated from the School of Law of Columbia University.
