Kathleen married Howard A. Bland, Jr in May 1917 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Her husband divorced her in 1922 because she insisted on finishing her college degree. He believed a woman's place was in the home being a homemaker. They were divorced.
Kathleen married Bascom Lee Wilson Md,. Col. Wilson understood the Lancaster women, as being independent-minded. He supported her work. Together they had the following children:
Mary Jane Wilson.
She died on September 1, 1972, in Dallas, Collin, Texas, United States, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, United States of America.
