John married Peggie, daughter of Archie McDonald (Gilleasbuig Ban), of Big Pond. Issue: — Donald, John, Rory, Archie, and Mary.

John settled at Benacadie, where by industry and good management he made a comfortable home for himself and family, and also laid something by for his old age. He was postmaster for a long time. He married Mary, daughter of Angus Gillis (Hugh).

Issue: — John J., Michael, Rory, Bessie, and Dan J.

• Dan J., settled on the homestead and married Katie Agnes, daughter of Michael McNeil (Beag), Benacadie East. He has a family.

Angus (Donald Og) settled at Benacadie East, and married Catherine, daughter of Donald McNeil (Big).

Issue: — Donald, Mary, Ann, Christie, Mary, Betsey, Angus, and Michael.

Michael (Beag) settled in the homestead and married Mary, daughter of Malcolm McDonald, Big Beach. Issue: — Katie Agnes, Peggie Ann, Ann, James, and Malcolm. Four sons and four daughters died young.

• Katie Agnes married Dan J. McNeil, Benacadie.
