Kenneth Arthur Lovell

Kenneth Arthur Lovell, 76, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday (July 31, 2009) at his home.

The son of Charles Arthur and Clara M. (Rowe) Lovell, he was born November 16, 1932 in Kirksville, Missouri. On May 26, 1951 in Bevier, Missouri, Kenneth was united in marriage to Joe Ann Hart who preceded him in death on May 28, 1994. On October 3, 1998 in LaPlata, Missouri, Kenneth married Sharyn Williams who survives.

Kenneth is also survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Sam Wilson of Macon, MO and Geane Ann Lovell of Kirksville, MO; two grandchildren, Lisa Marie (Wilson) Wood and husband, Wesley and Luke Andrew Wilson and three great-grandchildren, Bradyn, Noah and Parker Woods.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Duane Kenneth Lovell on November 26, 1956 and one sister, Geraldine Lovell.

Kenneth was a life-long resident of Adair County, graduating from the Kirksville High School, with the Class of 1950. He was employed for Churchill Truck Lines until retiring and continued farming and raising cattle a number of years.

Kenneth also enjoyed trout fishing, his John Deere tractor, going to auctions and loved spending time with his family.

He loved being involved with his church family and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church of Kirksville.
