About Kieran White
FR. KIERAN WHITE was born at Bonnettstown, County Kilkenny, in 1910. He died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Bonnettstown on December 24, 1985. Father Kieran was educated at C.B.S., Kilkenny, before entering Dalgan seminary in 1929. He was ordained priest by Bishop Galvin in December 1935. His first assignment was to promotion work in Australia [1936-39]. He went to the Philippines in 1939 where he worked in Luzon. His last appointment was as chaplain to the Medical Center, Manila, a position he held until his death. Father Kieran is buried at Dalgan.
