Kitty E Eisenhower

The widower Lemuel S Eisenhower, 47, son of John F and Catherine J Miller Eisenhower, and widow Kitty E Weaver, 38, daughter of J.M and Mary Duncan Hackett, were married December 29, 1886, in Mt Holly Springs, PA. Lemuel states prior wife died 1886, and Kitty states prior husband died 1878.

The Sentinel, Carlisle, Pa 04 Feb 1918, Mon pg 6 Mrs Kitty Eisenhower, wife of the late Lemuel S Eisenhower, of Carlisle, died at the Stetson Hospital in Philadelphia, Sunday morning at eight o'clock of pneumonia aged 69 years. She had been residing at the Todd Home in Carlisle for some time but several weeks ago went to Philadelphia. She contracted a heavy cold which resulted in an attack of pneumonia. Mrs Eisenhower was a member of St Paul's Lutheran church and the Woman's Relief Corps of Carlisle. She is survived by two grand sons, one in the U S A and one in Philadelphia, also by several step-children, several of whom reside in Carlisle.
