Kjetil Flatin (born in Seljord on 19 November 1879 , died on 3 November 1960 ) was a Norwegian fiddler from Seljord in Telemark . He bought the place Ramberg , where he lived a lifetime.

Kjetil Flatin has recorded several tunes in NRK . For his 80th birthday his in 1959 made Eivind Groven a radio program ( "Folk Half an hour") with the two.

Kjetil Flatin was an accomplished violin maker and made more than 200 Hardanger fiddles . A period he apprenticed to Gunnar Rostad .

Kjetil Flatin also composed some tunes .
