About Konrad Freund
Konrad Freund had an international career as a bass singer under the name Doda Conrad from 1932 to 1965. He recorded Bach's Cantatas Nos. 56 and 82 with Charles Henderson and Schubert's Winterreise with Lili Kraus, both for Vox. He served in the US Army during World War II.
