About Konstantinos Lascaris, duke of Thrakesion
Duke of Thrace
Theodoros I Komnenos Laskaris, Emperor of Nicaea 1204-1222, son of Manuel Laskaris and Ioanna (Karatzas, Phokaina), born circa 1175, died August 1222, married 1219 Marie de Courtenay, born 1204, died September 1222. His second marriage, to Philippa of Armenia, was annulled after one year on religious grounds. The son born from this marriage, Konstantinos, had no rights to the throne but instead became Duke of Thrakesion.

6. KONSTANTINOS Laskaris (1215-). The Lignages d'Outremer name "Costans qui fu mort" as son of "Lascre" and his wife "Phelippe" daughter of "Rupin de la Montaigne qui estoit seignor d'Ermenie"[83]. Georgius Akropolites records that "ex Armenia filius unicus" was eight years old when his father died[84]. He was deprived of his rights to the throne. [Dux of Thrakesion 1249.]
