LaMatha Eudiene Hester Sheets, 82, of North Little Rock, AR, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. She was born in Dyer, AR to the late Elbert and Daisy Whitlock Hester. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyal Earl Sheets and two brothers, Maxey and Don Hester.

LaMatha was a member of the Faith Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and Hays Red Hat Honeys. LaMatha will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Doyalene "Doye" Wasson and husband, Kirk; two grandsons, Jeff Wasson and wife, Nancy, and Brian Wasson; two great-grandchildren, Berkeley and Murphee; and a host of others family and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400), with Brother Dean Grigsby officiating. The family will take the ashes to Jackson Township Cemetery, Montezuma, Iowa.
