LaShores Price Turner was the grandson of Shadrack Turner, Revolutionary War Patriot, and the son of Captain John Turner, Revolutionary War Veteran. LaShores married his cousin Adelpha, daughter of William Turnerand Jane Hunter Turner of Franklin County, Virginia. William Turner and John Turner were brothers, both sons of Shadrack Turner (1720-1784).
LaShores and Adelpha had three children:
Wilson, Owen, and Nancy
There is a marriage bond recorded in Henry County on Nov. 15, 1806 for.....Turner, Shores and Adelpha Turner, dau. of William Turner.
LaShores was a veteran of the War of 1812
